CHANGED Anzac Day Information

for Guides at the Australian War Memorial 2017

Information on this flyer overrides all previous flyers

At this late stage some important changes for our Guides have had to be made to our Anzac Day arrangements. I apologise for this, and have included all changes in this message. I have also altered the original Parent Information letter and included a link to this below. It contains uniform requirements, what to bring, Senior Guide information and the like.

Arrangements for Rosemary Sprigging (Sunday 23 April 10.00am at Wanniassa Guide Hall) have NOT changed.

BIGGEST CHANGE that will affect our Guides

There will be no grandstand seating this year. This means that Guides who take part in the March will not be able to sit on the Parade Ground to watch the National Ceremony. After they have marched around the Parade Ground they will continue out of the barricaded area and back to the Guide Tent.

At this stage Guides may be collected by parents to go elsewhere to watch the ceremony, or they can stay at the Guide Tent and watch the ceremony on a big screen, supervised by Leaders until the conclusion of the ceremony around 12pm.

Amended Parent Information Letter

Don't forget an emergency phone number in a pocket on the day...

Thank you so much.
