Lost Items

Next week, ALL UNCLAIMED ITEMS in our Lost & Found will be donated. We have over 4 tables of jackets, hooded sweatshirts, water bottles, lunch bags, and winter gear. PLEASE have your child look one last time to claim any lost items.

Absence and Early Dismissal Reminders

When calling the CMS Attendance line and leaving a message please do the following:

  • Talk slightly slower than usual.
  • Spell your child's last name
  • Provide a reason for their absence


If you need to pick your child up early from school it is BEST to leave a message on the absence line, send them to school with a note for the main office, or call the office before 1:00 PM. We understand last second changes happen, however, the office has been inundated with last second changes and it is difficult to meet expected timelines without timely communication.

4th Grade Heart Day

As part of their "Heart Day," the 4th-grade students attempted to "Stall the Teacher" by making them count change instead of teaching. The purpose was to raise funds for The Children's Heart Foundation. The 4th-grade team is STILL counting pennies, however, they have raised over $2300 for the foundation. THANK YOU to everyone who helped make "Heart Day" a HUGE success.

NEW PBIS Stickers

Mrs. Diehm's 7th-grade technology classes have been working on creating new PBIS stickers for 6th and 7th graders. After both grade levels voted on five designs, a big congratulations to Jackson Andrews and Charlie Shamakian for their winning design.

TURKEYBALL

Next Tuesday, will be the Second Annual CMS Teachers vs Students Turkeyball. For the first round, priority will be given to students from the advisory that brought in the most food items for the food drive (except 6th grade), the second round will be the advisory nominated group, and the third round, time willing, will be pulled from the crowd. Other activities may be sprinkled in as well.

CMS Yearbooks

It’s time to order a CMS YEARBOOK! CMS yearbooks are on sale through December via Infinite Campus for an optional fee. We do not order extra yearbooks, so all sales must be completed before winter break. .

To order a yearbook, log-in to Infinite Campus. On the left-hand side of the screen click “fees.” Then click on the “manage accounts” folder (this is the tab next to the shopping cart). From there click “optional payments.” You will be able to add “CMS Yearbook” to your cart and pay the fee. Please contact the main office with questions on this ordering process!

Chardon Goes to the Musicals

Chardon Goes to the Musicals is excited to announce ticket sales for Hadestown and Beetlejuice. Money is due to Crescendo Club by Friday, December 9. Order forms are below.

Holiday Craft Fair

November 11, 2022 — Chardon High School invites the community to attend its holiday craft fair, which will be held on Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Chardon High School (151 Chardon Avenue).
