Weekly Learning
WOO HOO!!!! 90% of our class is reading on grade level!!! We will be celebrating on Monday with a special lunch provided by Ms. Pitchford.
In Math we are wrapping up for the year and reviewing what we learned and moving into 1st grade work.

It is Schofield Elementary's goal to make sure more than 80% of students are proficient with Missouri Learning Standards for math and literacy. Students are working towards reading on grade level for end of year Kindergarten
How to get involved with Schofield
Parent Involvement
Schofield has many opportunities for families to volunteer and be involved during the school day. If you are interested in the below parent involvement opportunities, please contact Ms. Markie Bravestone, Schofield’s Assistant Principal, at markie.bravestone@republicschools.org.

Dads spend the day mentoring students and helping around the school.

In addition to the above opportunities during the school day, parents can attend PTO Meetings, assemblies, special building events and serve on the Parent Advisory Committee. Communication about these events are on Schofield’s Facebook page and in monthly building newsletters.

- The 100th day of school will be on January 23rd. We will celebrate being 100 days smarter by dressing like we are 100 years old!
- Souper Bowl- We will be collecting cans of soup from January 20-February 1 to donate to People Helping People. We will host a grade-level competition!

School Counselor
During our next visit from Ms. Pietruszynski, students K-2 will discuss kindness and ways to be a good friend. Students will discuss the importance of being kind to others, respecting our differences, and discussing the difference between tattling and reporting.
