Significance - This piece depicts scenes from the Old Testament, it is sculpted from bronze and covered in gold, giving it an elegant look.


I find this piece fascinating, Lorenzo shows his skill as an artist and sculptor through this piece. The gold work shows the wealth and power of the church at the time.


This sculpture shows Humanism, the panels depict accurate sculptings of humans which contains precise scale and proportions to the human body.
