Cereal Drive for local food pantries

Dear LES families,

The students at Lincoln Elementary School are learning about the “Domino Effect” of kindness in Character Counts class. Now more than ever, we need to teach the importance of kindness and how it is a domino effect. Our quest at LES is for everyone to be genuinely kind. For the next couple of weeks we will be doing several lessons focusing on how to be kind to everyone.

Starting Monday, March 1st, we will be collecting boxes of cereal for all of the local food pantries. We will be accepting donations through Friday, March 12th. Once all of the cereal boxes are collected, the winning class will set up all of the boxes in the Lincoln hallway to create a huge domino chain reaction. (not my original idea J) The domino reaction will be recorded and shared.

If you are interested in donating a box (or more) of cereal to the LES cereal drive please send the cereal with your child to school between 3/1 – 3/12.

Thanks so much!
