Dear New Field Families,

It is hard to believe but this is the last full five day week of the school year. Your children have accomplished so much this year and we hope you can join us in celebrating their growth and accomplishments.

This week we are thrilled to welcome you into our school for our end of year performance. Under the direction of our music teacher, Mr. Dusel, students will all perform a song, dance or instrumental piece themed to A DROP OF SUNSHINE.

All families are welcome to attend. See information below to determine when your child is performing. The shows will be held in the cafeteria at your child' assigned date and time.

Additionally, we ask that you try and send your children in the following colors on the day of their performance:

• First: Blue

• Second: Green

• Third: White

• Fourth: Wear your best black and white with purple flair!

Did you apply to attend New Field for preschool in school year 2023-2024? Check your email for your offer! Offers were released on Friday, May 19.

After accepting your space, please be sure to bring the following documents for enrollment:

• Proof of address (two forms)
• Birth certificate
• Physical with all current immunizations
• Proof of income (two forms)

Don't forget to sign your child's permission slips! All PK-4th grade classrooms will go on a walking field trip within the last two weeks of school. Contact your child's teacher and complete your Level II volunteer form to be considered for a chaperone.

We hope you continue on with us at New Field for school year 2023-2024. We also know that life can change, new opportunities arise and you may need to transfer to a new school.

Kinder-Third Grade Families:

If you know your child will be changing schools for the upcoming year, and you have not done so yet, please be sure to complete a transfer request form

Preschool & Forth Grade Families:

Your child is automatically projected to their next area school of attendance based on your address in ASPEN or they are projected based on your GoCPS selections.

You can call our main office between 9:00 - 2:00 to confirm your child's next school of enrollment

Congratulations to our Chicago Run participants - New Field had a huge turn out with over 100 registrants. Our children and families ran and walked one mile, danced zumba and engaged in other healthy activities.

We hope you can join us next year for our Family Fun Run!

A big thank you to all families that participated in our PAC this year! We had a year full of learning, fun and empowerment.

We capped off our year with our first-ever New Field family cooking club and it was a big success.

Our PAC is looking for more officers for the upcoming school year: mark your calendar for September 14, 2023 for our first PAC meeting of SY24!

Schools are closed Monday, May 29 in observance of Memorial Day.
