Missing Assignments

Beginning this week, late assignments will have points taken off!! Be mindful of the due dates and submit your work on time. It must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on the day it is due. So, ALL students need to submit their writing assignment by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday (Sept. 2), etc. The only students who will be allowed extra time are those who just enrolled at the end of last week.

I definitely want to put MANY more names on the list of students who have all assignments in!!! Look ahead now and ask questions about assignments you are unsure of so you can get them turned in on time. Ganbatte ne!

This Week's Lesson Content

We will be learning the greetings, the very basics of the Japanese language (My name is.... I am a ____th grader, etc.). Part of the cultural discussion this week involves the importance of bowing. Please make sure to read through the information regarding the proper way to bow in Japan. It is not the same as depicted in many American movies nor how it is practiced by many in the martial arts in the U.S.

OPTIONAL extra practice with greetings
