Top 5 Reasons to Invest in a Personal Trainer
MOTIVATION: Having difficulty motivating yourself to workout? Trainers provide the encouragement, energy & motivation you need to jumpstart your routine.
CONSISTENCY: Do you find it difficult to stick with a program or habit? It’s a lot harder to skip the gym when you know someone is waiting for you.
CLARITY: Fitness can be confusing. There is a lot of information to sort through. A trainer can help remove the guesswork so you can put all your energy toward accomplishing your goals.
CONFIDENCE: The gym can be intimidating. Working with a trainer allows you to become confident with how to properly perform exercises and navigate the facility.
AVOID INJURY: Taking the time to learn proper exercise technique can improve your results and prevent injuries.

March Trainer Tip
March is National Nutrition Month
How to Properly Refuel after a Workout
After a workout, focus on getting both carbs and protein into your body. Your body needs carbs to fuel your working muscles. Protein is necessary to help build and repair the muscles. Try to eat within an hour of completing an intense workout.
A few post-workout ideas:
Post-workout smoothie made with low-fat milk or yogurt and fruit
Low-fat chocolate milk
Turkey on a whole-grain pita, tortilla or bread with veggies
Low-fat greek yogurt with berries
Banana with peanut or almond butter
Trainer Nikki’s Go-To Post Workout Fuel: Chocolate Milk
“I drink Fairlife chocolate milk after every workout. It is extra filtered, so there is less sugar and more protein to help repair the muscles you worked.” - Nikki Hauck, FAC’s Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor & Health Coach - American Council on Exercise
