Help Us Help Others!
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! We have our very own Simpson Superstars who are childhood cancer survivors. We want to help doctors find a cure for cancer!
To help raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research, we are asking each student to bring in $1 on Friday, September 20 to be able to wear pajamas to school that day. If a student brings $2.00, he/she can also bring a stuffed animal to school!
The money will be donated to CURE, located right here in GA, who raises money for pediatric cancer research.
Thank you for helping us put an end to childhood cancer!

NATIONAL WALK TO SCHOOL DAY: WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 2
Join children and adults around the world as we celebrate the benefits of walking to school!
Walk to School Day is an event that promotes walking for several reasons:
physical activity;
teaching safe pedestrian skills to children;
awareness of how "walkable" a community is and where improvements can be made;
concern for the environment;
reducing traffic congestion, pollution, and speed near schools;
sharing time with parents and children.
**If your child must ride a bike or scooter to school on Walk to School Day, please remind them to be extremely mindful of all our walkers!
Mark your calendars and walk to school on National Walk to School Day - Wednesday, October 2nd.
