SAFETY AS A FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
HERE ARE SOME OF THE MANY REQUIRMENTS TO BE A INSTRUCTOR...
INTRODUCTION TO HEALTH ASND FITNESS.
As a health and fitness intstructor you have to take into account that there are different sexes and therefore they need different routines,as in if there was an 80 year old woman they wouldnt be wanting to lift 80 kilos on the weight bench and if there was a 20 year old guy they would be wanting to lift that amount of weight to be looking in a grater shape. You also have to know what the client wants as in their long term goal like they might want to end up looking different or just being more healthy so for instance they may want to look different as in their muscles so their training will invlolve more weight training and be more intense. but if they wanted a more healthy life their training will be extended out for weeks on end with very heathy food to be eaten and balanced diet and often visits to the gym.
as a fitness instructor you have to introduce your client to all the gym equipment. you have to do this to make sure your client does not injure his or her bodily parts and to also make sure they get the full experience of every peice of euipment. they must need to know the emergency stop buttons on equipment such as a treadmill. they must also need to know if they need a partner to help them with some equipment such as a weight bench.
CLIENT HEALTH CHECK
there is also a definite need for a client health check you will need to know any previous injuries or any medical problems such as a previous heart attack or and surgery's that have taken place. you need to know this to be able to know how hard to work the client or if there is any equipment they cannot use. you would need to know if they had a previous heart attack because it would determine the intensity of the workout.
AREA RISK ASSESSMENT
the area risk assessment is wether or not the area is suitable to be able to work in such as is there any broken glass, wet patches or unsuitable ground. This is a very important enquiry as the cost will enlarge if there is any injuries towards the trainer or the client. there would be many insurance risks as if your client does fall over and cut them selves they would be able to sue you for a large amount of money as they was not in a safe enviroment.
different sexes = different routines
DIFFERENT TYPES OF TRAINING
different muscles = different training
DIFFERENT LIFE STYLES
different lifestyles = different eating
