A Word from the Principal
Hi all! Thanksgiving is upon us! Not only does that mean we have a short week but it also means the weather is in the midst of changing to where we become cooped up in the house. This is a great time to reevaluate those activities your student is involved in. Staying connected with their peers, having productive activities that are supervised by trusted adults, and in general avoiding extended hours in front of a TV or computer screen is a goal. Mrs. Dreon and Mr. Kappler continue to work to make access to the activities and athletics opportunities apparent for both you and your student. Please feel free to reach out to them to learn more--especially if your student is currently not involved in a group at school. Speaking of the activities, congratulations to all the students and staff involved in last week’s play, Radium Girls. The number of students involved in the production was impressive. I want to take a moment to let you know how grateful I am to be here at AHS. I am thankful for the welcoming from all, for the joy the kids bring me, and for being trusted to protect and grow such a fine organization. I feel very lucky! I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving break and have as much to be grateful for as I do!
