Teacher Expectations
Teaching points should be aligned to grade level standards (these do not need to be posted).
Tasks should be aligned to your teaching point and students should be able to articulate what they are doing.
I appreciate everyone taking the time this week to plan and re-set for our last two months. Still lots of learning to happen!
Science Fair, 5/12
The awards assembly will be 5-8pm.
ILT will review the grade level requirements for science faire this week so please check in with your grade level rep. if you have questions about what is expected for science fair.
Workshops to help students prepare for the science faire. will be held 3/23 from 5-6pm and Saturday 4/15 from 9:30-10am by Laura Prival, Glenview parent and district science coordinator. Science Faire boards will be given out to students who attend the workshops.
Open House - 5/11, 6-7:30pm
Many of us last year had our students lead Open House by using a Scavenger Hunt. Here's the ideas that we generated last year:
Cross Grade Level Academic Work
Bulletin Boards
Mr. Ross projected penguin illustrations on the wall. Students worked in groups to trace and create mini-murals. They then added writing to share what they are learning about penguins in their Informational Writing Unit.

SBAC Prep Assemblies
Tk-2 grade you are not expected to attend these daily mini-assemblies, but you can join us on Friday in the auditorium for the final kick off- Cheering and support appreciated!
