As a reminder for all families, the last day of school for the 2022-23 school year will be on Friday, May 26. This will be a half day for all students in grades PK-12. Our school will dismiss at 12:00, and lunch will not be served.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is April 22

Too often, unused prescription drugs find their way into the wrong hands. That's dangerous and often tragic. The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day reflects a commitment to Americans’ safety and health, encouraging the public to remove unneeded, unwanted and expired medications from their homes as a measure of preventing medication misuse and opioid addiction.

Medicaid Renewal: Important Update

MO HealthNet (Missouri Medicaid) is now requiring families to update their addresses and possibly their eligibility every year. Families that do not follow the steps below will be dropped from Medicaid and have to reapply, so it is important that families eligible for Medicaid coverage do the following:

  1. Update your address if you have moved. This can be done online, by visiting a local resource center, or by calling 855-373-4636.

  2. Watch for a letter in the mail. Renewal letters should arrive between April 2023 and April 2024. You will need to follow the instructions on the letter you receive to complete the process.

For more information, please visit https://mydss.mo.gov/renew.
