History of wretling
The modern history of wrestling begins with a rise of popularity in the 19th century, which led to the development of the modern sports Greco-Roman wrestling on the European continent and freeestyle wrestling and collegiate wrestling in Great Britain and the United States.
Wrestling
Two of the wrestling styles that have been included in the Summers Olympics are Freestyle wrestling and Greco-Roman wrestling. In the US there is 3 types of major wrestling Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco.
Jordan Burroughs
Jordan Burroughs is the worlds best wrestler. Jordan is best know for his double leg shots. He was born July 8th 1988 and he first started wrestling when he was 5 years old. Jordan Burroughs is an Olympic gold Medalist.
Takedowns
A takedown is a technique that involves off balancing an opponent and bringing him or her to the ground. The process of quickly advancing on an opponent and attempting a takedown is known as, shooting.
Crossface
A crossface is when you drive your forearm across there face. A crossfire can be used in many different moves such as the pancake and the crossface cradle pin.
Pinning
To actually pin someone you have to have both of your opponents shoulders touching the ground. There is many pinning combinations to do this such as a half-nelson, cradle, head&arm, and a three quarter nelson.
