January FREP Theme for Families: THE CHURCH
During the month of January, the theme and focus for students and families at FREP will be "The Church." Instructors are already preparing lessons and inspiring ideas about this very important topic.
To prepare for discussions and family work together, CLICK HERE to view Bishop Robert Barron's short video discussion about the gifts of Jesus Christ and what that means for Catholics.
Corporal Works of Mercy for January: Hats, scarves and gloves for all ages!
This month, FREP families are asked to donate hats, gloves, scarves and other warming accessories for St. Luke's N.E.W. Life center
Some suggested items to donate:
- Children's gloves and mittens
- Children's hats and scarves
- Adult hats and scarves
- Adult gloves
HOMEWORK INFORMATION
Per the Diocese of Lansing, homework is a requirement of the FREP program for all families including students in any of the sacramental prep programs. If a family is unable to attend FREP or Sacramental Prep, homework must be picked up in the church vestibule as soon as possible after a missed class.
Even if FREP Monthly objective documents have not yet been turned in, they can be turned in this month for the FREP Data Collection by the Diocese.
