Field Day News!
Hello Fronteras Families,
The much anticipated field day is coming up Friday, May 18th. In order to keep all of the fun activities planned for students, we need 23 volunteers per shift that are willing to help out for the day. If we don’t have enough volunteers, we will cut activities. Contact Hyrum Neilson or Misty Adams if you are able to help for part or all of the day. There is also a sign-up board posted in the school lobby. Field day events will start at 9:00 and go until 2:00. Get the last of those volunteer hours in!
This year we are offering the following events:
Slip n slide-2
Adventure run 9:00-Lunch-4
Angry birds water balloon-1
Sidewalk chalk art-1
Water gun station-1
All students that wish to participate in the dunk tank and adventure run must turn in the permission slip by Thursday, May 17th. Permission slips will not be accepted on field day. ONLY INITIAL THE EVENTS THAT YOUR CHILD(REN) HAVE PERMISSION TO PARTICIPATE IN! STUDENTS THAT DO NOT BRING A PERMISSION SLIP WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DUNK TANK OR ADVENTURE RUN.
Students that participate in the adventure run must wear closed toe and tying shoes that fit properly.
Students that participate in the dunk tank need to bring appropriate clothing for the water.
Please bring a dry change of clothing for students as there are several water activities planned.
We will have a picnic lunch on Friday, May 18th.
Thank you for your continued support!
