celebrating 25 years of excellence in catholic education
Theme for the Year: Goodness
Our Motto: Teaching the Mind...Nourishing the Soul
At St. Joseph Catholic School, we are striving to become missionary disciples, recognizing the goodness of God in our lives and in the world around us, each and every day.
Our Mission and Vision Statements
Mission:
St. Joseph Catholic School provides students with a safe and prayerful learning environment, enveloped by an intimate community of active and faithful families.
Vision:
Catholic schools in the Diocese of Fort Worth are committed to opening the doors so that our students can reach further than the walls that would otherwise enclose them and therefore are able to recognize and cherish the eternal and transcendental goods of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.
From the Principal
I hope you have all enjoyed the last day of Catholic Schools Week 2020: Celebrating Families. The National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) states, "Parents, guardians and other family members play a vital role in Catholic education. Not only do they volunteer at the school, they instill values and expectations for academic excellence in their children at home. We acknowledge the role of families in Catholic education and celebrate their contributions to the success of our schools on the last day of National Catholic Schools Week, and all year long."
We are not St. Joseph Catholic School without the support of our families. Thank you for all you do to enrich our school. Just as the people are the Church, the families are the school. Your contributions help create the culture and climate our students enjoy today. May God continue to bless all of you, and to bless St. Joseph Catholic School.
In Christ's service,
Diane Price, M.Ed.L.
Principal

New saintly quote to ponder
A tree is known by its fruit; a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost; he who sows courtesy reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love. - St. Basil
