December Theme: Battle of the Bathrooms
December is a quick month and we are going to focus on keeping our bathrooms tidy while making sure the volume is under control. Bathrooms will compete for a special sign which will indicate the bathroom in the lead. Again, our focus areas will be;
-volume
-clean up
-in and out quick
Report Cards - Changes
The OASD elementary music teachers are pleased to announce a “new look” to the music section of the report cards. The past three years we have been revising instructional strategies and curriculum to improve student learning and achievement. The updated music curriculum reflects these changes by focusing on four parts of the artistic process identified in the National Core Music Standards: creating, performing, responding and connecting (combined). Students will be engaging in all musical processes throughout the school year. The Perform and Respond/Connect will be reported all three trimesters and Create will be reported in the third trimester only Please take time to discuss with your child their achievement in music and thank you for igniting your child’s interest in the arts.
Perform: T1 T2 T3 (all 3 trimesters)
Create: T3 only
Respond: T1 T2 T3 (all 3 trimesters)
Word of the Week!

WONDERING IF YOU QUALIFY FOR FREE OR REDUCED LUNCH?
If you have any questions, call the office and we would be happy to help! We can send home a packet in your child's back pack for you to complete.
Applications need to be completed and submitted each year, so if you have not completed one for the 2019-2020 school year, let us know, and we can send one home or stop on by in the office and grab one!
