Today is officially the kickoff of the Read A Thon! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and helps to support our staff and students through family events, assemblies, book fairs, classroom materials, technology and more. A packet of information is coming home with your student today. You also should be receiving an invite from 99 Pledges with a link to your students website. This page is used to enter reading minutes and can be shared via text, email, and social media to raise funds. The goal for each student is to read 20 minutes each night. Be sure to check out the packet for the complete list of fun incentives the students can earn for both reading and fundraising! To earn the first prize, simply share your website via text or email over the weekend. Our goal as a school is to read 100,000 minutes and to raise $40,000. If we hit 100,000 minutes, the students get to vote on the movie for the outdoor movie night and vote on the name for our Bobcat mascot. If we hit $40,000 the students (top fundraiser per class) get to pie one of the staff in the face! If you did not receive the invitation from 99 Pledges and would like to participate, please email us bncpto@gmail.com. Thank you for your support! Follow us on Facebook to see our daily updates.
