Walt Disney was one out of five children.

When he was young he joined the Red Cross after being rejected from the army for being underage.

Disneyland was created on July 27,1954 and was finished in one year on July 17, 1955.

Oswald and Mickey

Oswald was the first cartoon character that Walt Disney created.

He was offered less pay to keep drawing Oswald cartoons so then he decided to create Mickey.

He created Mickey by using Oswald as the base he just made a few adjustments to him.

When he was done he decided to name the mouse Mortimer, but his wife didn't like that name so he decided to name him Mickey.

Walt Disney's favorite character

Believe it or not Mickey was not Walt's favorite character it was actually Donald Duck.

Walt wanted a character that was more negative than Mickey so he came up with Donald.

Walt's favorite ride at Disneyland

Walt's favorite ride would be the Pirates of the Caribbean.

The reason why is because he was the supervisor of this ride, but he died before if was finished.
