The Adair Community for Excellence in Education (ACEE) is hosting an online fundraiser to help support their efforts in advancing excellence in APS by funding and supporting programs to enhance educational opportunities. Blade Lippe Serves as State Capitol Page

Blade Lippe a Senior from House District 6 served as a page for Rep. Rusty Cornwell, R-Vinita, through the Oklahoma House of Representatives High School Page Program during the week of March 29. “I appreciate the interest that these students took in our local and state government process, and I really appreciate all the hard work that they did while they were at the Capitol,” Cornwell said. “Their contributions were a huge benefit to our office and I hope they learned a lot and made great memories while here.”

Garrett Long Earns OCA and Native American All State

Garrett Long was recently named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State Basketball Team. Garrett is now eligible to play in the All-State game this summer. The games are set for Thursday, July 29, tipping off at 7 p.m. at a venue to be determined. Garrett was also selected to the Oklahoma Native American All-State Team.

Robotics Science Saturday May 1st

It is time for Science Saturday! Let our high school robotics team members help stimulate your elementary-aged student's interest in STEM areas through fun, interactive, and engaging lessons. All students from grades 1-5 are invited to attend. Registration forms are being sent home to Bernita Hughes Elementary students. Registration forms must be returned by April 23. We look forward to seeing your child there!

Apply for the FREE Summer Nutrition Program

This federally funded program is AVAILABLE TO ANYONE; you do not have to be American Indian to qualify. Qualifying families will receive approximately $30 of free food per child per month for May, June, and July. Benefits are on an EBT card (works like a debit card) that allows you to purchase healthy food for the summer.
