CLASSROOM SUPPLIES DONATION ACTIVITY
COME GARDEN WITH WALDEN'S GREEN TEAM!
Get some garden gloves on and help renovate the garden around the Walden sign! Walden's Green team in teaming up with our Deerfield Park District and community group Go Green Deerfield to add a bunch of new butterfly friendly flowers to the garden on Thursday, 5/30 from 3:45 to 5:30pm.
You can check out the Philanthropy Fair first and then come on over to the garden area to plant a few plants. If you bring a clean stone or brick about 6 x 6 inches, you can also paint a decorative garden stone for edging.
We would recommend one parent for every two kids, and will have several gardeners on hand to lend further assistance. We also recommend bringing your own hand trowel for digging and old t-shirt for painting.
Contact Amy Call to RSVP and for questions.
Thank you!
