Today, September 11th, 2022 is a day we take pause and remember 21 years ago and the impact the events of that day has had on our country. As I've progressed through my career and time passes between 9/11 and our current day I find it really important to take time and talk to our kids about just how significant those events were in shaping our country. Parents please take a few moments today and talk to your kids about what happened on 9/11 and remember those that lost their lives.

This week at Alta Mesa we will be mindful of a couple of weather related issues. We are still watching the overall temperature each day. Last week when temperatures were high we opened up our gym and library to students if they wanted a cooler place to go. We will monitor temperature levels and if it is needed we will provide the same options this week. We will also be monitoring air quality throughout the week as the wind has brought smoke into Redding.
