Star Parents,
Important Information
Morning Arrival:
Our school day begins at 7:45 every morning. Please make sure your child arrives on time so they will have plenty of time to unpack their backpack and be prepared for a great day of learning.
Holiday Items:
Please send in 1 can of white icing, 1 piece of 10''x12'' cardboard covered in foil, and the circled item from the blue Holiday Party letter by next Friday, December 15th.
Career Dress-Up Activity:
We sent home a paper doll with your child today. Please have your child decorate and cut out the doll as your child's future dream career. The completed paper doll can be returned to school anytime between now and Thursday, January 4th. We will use these to decorate our hallway in January for College Week!
College Week:
College week is coming up! It is from January 8-12th. Mrs. Carranza will be talking with students about how important education is in all her guidance lessons. We will dress up each day that week with a different theme! See below the different dress up days!
Random Acts of Kindness:
- Small acts of kindness pave the way for a strong sense of compassion and empathy! We have been discussing ways to show random acts of kindness at school and at home.
We are attaching a Random Acts of Kindness calendar today so you can participate with your child at home!
Weather Change:
- With the weather changing, please make sure to send your child with a labeled jacket. We go outside for recess unless it's below freezing. Also, please send in a winter version of your child's extra set of clothes.
Lost and Found:
- If your child has misplaced a water bottle or jacket, please encourage your child to check the Lost and Found. The Lost and Found is located in the cafeteria.
