While you’re probably eager to graduate and put high school behind you, don’t forget to slow down and enjoy it for all that it’s worth. These are the final 180 days that you will spend with most of the people that you’ve grown up with, so be sure to make each day count.
With that being said, there will be a lot of things you need to do to get ready for your first year of college and to make sure you can have a wonderful senior year experience at Oakland Tech. Please read the newsletter to keep up with the latest information.

Returning Students: Register Now for 2019-20 School Year
All returning students have received either an email or a text message from the OUSD Student Welcome Center with information about registering online. This is an exciting new development, and it is sure to save families a lot of time and stress.
Families should complete the online registration ASAP. Then, in August, all students will report to Tech in person on Aug. 5 or Aug. 6 for their ID photos and class schedules. (Details to come.)
Log into Schoolmint here using the login information you received in your email or text.
Your login should be either your email address or primary phone number. Once you are in Schoolmint, indicate whether you are returning or not. We need this information ASAP. You also can complete your registration documents online and submit them after confirming whether you will return to Tech.

Exercise Your Right: 16 & 17 Year Olds Can Now Pre-Register Online to Vote
In California, eligible 16 and 17 year olds can now pre-register online to vote and then automatically become active voters once they turn 18 — strengthening our democracy by helping to choose the people who will lead us and by voicing their opinions on issues that affect the future of our communities, state and union. We strongly encourage our eligible Bulldog students and families to register now and to exercise their right to be heard.
