St. Anna will be graduating 13 wonderful young adults on June 10th this year. They will be entering high school in the fall. This year is not what we all expected, but our graduates (and all our students) continue to amaze me in how they have grasped this new way of learning and new way of life. To our graduates: Congratulations! You have the tools necessary to do great things. St. Anna has laid a strong foundation in which you can utilize to make a difference as you enter this new journey. We are proud of you .

We love seeing you smile and are glad we could celebrate in with a parade in your honor.

The year is quickly coming to a close. Saint Anna continues to amaze me in just how quickly we were able to adapt our school classrooms to the virtual classroom setting. We have done an amazing job and we have learned a lot too. We have continued to grow academically , kept our studies in tact, and held on to our relationships strong. It is without a doubt that Saint Anna School continues to shine in the spotlight with superior academics, excellent teachers, fantastic parents and a great close knit community. We have been able to do this all the while we are virtual! What an amazing school!

The end of the year is quickly approaching.

This school year is drawing to a close.

Virtual classes will be coming to an end shortly. We will hold a technology and school supply return day on 6/11 for grades 1-3 and 6/12 for grades 4-8.

Basketball/team uniforms should be brought to school on these days as well.

THE LAST DAY OF CLASSES K-7 is June 12th. For those needing to submit late/missing work, it may be submitted up until the 16th. Report cards will be distributed on 6/19 to allow extra time for those needing to submit missed/late work and for teachers to gather, record, and submit grades.

8th Grade Graduation : June 10th 6 p.m.

If and when the dynamics of quarantine and public gatherings change over the summer, I welcome the chance for us all to come together. God Bless

We know that everyone has had to sacrifice in one way or another and we thank you.

It's been a tumultuous year. We started off the year with many changes and before you knew it, we were changing to virtual learning within a weeks notice. People lost jobs, were put on furlough, and couldn't work. Businesses closed, school buildings closed and communities and families couldn't come together as they once did. Many families worked the front lines as nurses, doctors, pharmacists, police, and fire among so many others heroes that put themselves in front of others. We thank you for your sacrifices and for balancing family, school, work and so much more. Thank you!.

Our teachers were tasked with the job of balancing their lives as well. They had to learn and implement this new way of learning as well. They learned to multi task with zoom,seesaw and google all while juggling home life too. It has been quite a transition. We have all come out stronger and wiser. We will celebrate when we can!

With the end of this year in sight, we want you to know that we understand the sacrifices and balancing act that everyone has had to endure. We understand the financial burden placed on families and on our school and parish. We want you to know that we are strong, that we will continue to offer an exceptional academic environment whether in or out of the classroom. We will continue to grow as a close community because we are all committed to St. Anna.

St. Anna prides itself on how well we were able to implement virtual learning, how quickly we navigated uncharted territory in such a short time....We did it and I couldn't be more proud! Learning continues, we are all engaged and our students continue to learn.

With the end of this year approaching, we start to think about the next. WE LOOK FORWARD TO AND ARE PLANNING ON COMING BACK TO THE BUILDING IN THE FALL. There is a chance that it or part of it could be virtual. Will there be limits to how we come together? What changes can we expect? These are all questions that I know you are thinking about and I am too. Unfortunately at this point, it is unclear. We will continue to work with the Dept. of Health and Human Services and the Worcester Diocese to ensure safety for all.

No matter how it will look, we will still have our close knit community to connect to.

Financial Aid Awards will be out soon which will allow us to start sending out tuition invoices for 2020-2021. For those wishing to receive 3%off by paying in full, the deadline for that has been extended until July 15th. For those of you facing hardship, please don't hesitate to contact myself or Fr. Carlos. We are happy to talk with you.

On behalf of the St. Anna community, we all look forward to seeing you next year.

Eighth grade news!

Our Eighth graders are excited for their adventure into high school. Keep your eyes peeled on our Facebook page during the first week of June! Plans are in the making to hold a special graduation ceremony on June 10th at 6 p.m. It will not look like the usual graduation, but it will be very special! We love our 8th graders and we want to make this as special as possible.

Thank you to all that participated in The Books & Beyond Program.

Thank you to Mrs. Thomas and all the volunteers that have worked so hard in making this program a success, for making it so fun and enjoyable for all our students.

Special thank you to our classroom coordinators that gave of their time and energy in making this program such a success. A celebration will be planned.

Scholastic Book Fair~ Virtual and through the summer.

If looking for and needing some books.

Scholastic is having a virtual online book fair through the summer. and all schools are automatically signed up to participate, all we have to do is get the word out!

Come to Our Book Fair!

The school earns scholastic dollars for all the sales, just like we would with a regular fair. We use the money to fill teacher classroom wish lists and the library.

The fair ends September 4th.

MAP Testing

9 Parent Back to School Night 6-8 p.m.

Map testing is an great tool that helps teachers to see the needs and proficiency of their students and adjust their plan to meet their needs. MAP testing will be scheduled the first several weeks once we return to school. We have all been away from the classroom and this will be a great tool to ensure that will allow us to meet our students where they are. This is an opportunity to allow our teachers and you our parents to see how our students are doing as we plan to meet our students needs this year.
