Kaleidoscope Charter High School will be hosting an information night for 8th graders and their families on Saturday, September 14th - 2pm Calvary Baptist Church, 10310 Chapel Hill Rd, Morrisville . See Community News section of this newsletter for a brief description.

Don't Forget to Pre-Order
Everyone MUST pre-order lunch, otherwise a lunch WILL NOT be prepared.
What you need before you order:
1. Create your account and add your child to your account (See Guide attached or click here)
2. Review Menu with your child. A “complete meal” is the lunch meal posted on the menu. (Menu is attached)
Here is How to Pre-Order:
Step 1. Log into your account. School Payment Portal
Step 2. There will be a new button to pre-order the meals. Click on Meal Pre-Order then on Select Meals to the left of their student(s) name.
Step 3. Select the date and meal selection from a drop down menu. “Complete Meal” is what is posted on the menu.
Step 4. Click Save.

GUITAR & UKULELE CLUB!
Kestrel Heights is very fortunate to have after school "GUITAR & UKULELE" club this year under the direction of Vlad Kary. He is a professional musician with over 15 years of experience in playing and teaching music all over the world.The program is open for all levels from absolute beginners to advanced players. Students will learn about different areas of their instrument. Instruction is guided accordingly to keep lessons engaging and fun!

Morrisville's innovative student-centered Kaleidoscope Charter High School (KCHS) is opening in August of 2020!! If you are looking for a smaller, innovative, community high school where students can explore their passions, and are able to learn in a supportive, collaborative environment, then Kaleidoscope may be right for you.

Registrations are accepted at any Durham YMCA location. Participants may begin After School the Monday after registering. Friday or weekend registrations can begin 1 week from the following Monday.
Curriculum Bridge
Curriculum Bridge is an academic enrichment program that is built on and around assisting children who need the help outside of school. Academic enrichment tutoring for Pre-K thru 8th grade.
