Corn is the most important crop for the Ojibwe tribe.
In the summer the Ojibwe women would plant crops like corn,squash and pumpkin. and when the Ojibwe women were not with there garden they would pick berries like raspberries, blackberries and strawberries.

The Ojibwe would play lacrosse. and the ojibwe children would pick the late berries.
The Ojibwe men would go out and trade with others. also.They would fish and they hunted small animal because they would let the mothers take care of there young so they could grow and they could hunt them.
