Roll Cadets
Homecoming
Cascade High School will host homecoming activities on Friday, September 10, 2021. The football team will be playing Cloverdale that night with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m. A special honor guard comprised of police and fire personnel will present the colors for the National Anthem that evening. We will be honoring all first responders and remembering those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. First responders will be issued a free ticket to the game that evening when they display a department-issued ID. We will honor our newest class to the Cascade High School Hall of Fame in a ceremony prior to the game. The Cascade High School Student Council is sponsoring a fun week of homecoming activities that include dress-up days, a hall decorating contest, a pep session at school on Friday, presentation of the homecoming court at halftime of the football game, and a fifth quarter for CHS students immediately following the game in the Cadet Center. Tickets will be for sale at the gate - there are no cash sales, so tickets must be purchased with a credit/debit card. We encourage fans to purchase their tickets in advance at www.cascadesports.org/tickets. We hope to have a fantastic crowd on Friday, September 10th for Homecoming as the Cadets look for a victory over the Clovers.

Suicide Prevention Walk
This year Cascade High School will host their 2nd annual Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk. From 2016 to 2019 CHS raised nearly $10,000 and attended the walk in downtown Indianapolis. However, in 2020 the downtown walk was canceled. Not to be deterred, Natalee Hessler and Allison Paradise organized a walk for the students of CHS here on the track. The students, staff, and community raised over $4000 last year, breaking our fundraising record. After such a huge success, we have decided to continue the walk here at the track. This year our walk will be Saturday, September 25th at 10am. There will be music, prizes, and opportunities to donate. At 10:30 we will have a bead ceremony to remember those we have lost to suicide, and the walk will start directly after the bead ceremony. We want to invite students and staff to participate in this important day. If you would like to donate, feel free to either stop by the office to make your donation or donate online at https://supporting.afsp.org/participant/2386302 . We will also be selling tshirts starting September 6th.
