New Date for GLHS Floor Plan Reveal
Phase Two Update: Middle School Additions and Renovations Ready to Move Forward
During the summer and fall of 2021, our GJPS design, architect and construction team met regularly to design additions and renovations to Middle Schools East, South and West. In addition, because each of our three middle schools has a unique floor plan, our team worked closely with the principals of the three schools to create learning spaces that meet the needs of our teachers and learners and create equitable spaces across the three middle schools.
The floor plans for each school include:
- Additional classrooms at each school
- Eleven at MSE
- Ten at MSS
- Eight at MSW
- Flexible small group spaces for supplemental support and intervention
- Expanded cafeteria seating
- Additional related arts space
- Increased office space
- Equitable spaces across the three middle schools
