Elementary Leadership Appointments
We are pleased to share that Mrs. Molly O’Connor will be the principal of Bennington’s fifth elementary school, Stratford Elementary, for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year.
Mrs. O’Connor has been in education for twelve years. Prior to coming to Bennington, she taught for Millard Public Schools for eight years. Her experience in 2nd grade, 4th grade, and as a support for K-5 Math and high ability learners prepared her for an administrative intern position with Millard. In 2018, Mrs. O’Connor transitioned to Bennington Public Schools as the assistant principal at Bennington Elementary. The following year, Mrs. O’Connor was appointed elementary principal at Bennington Elementary where she has spent the past three years. Mrs. O’Connor will bring her talents as well as an abundance of energy and enthusiasm to her new assignment as leader of Stratford Elementary.
Congratulations to Anchor Pointe's current assistant principal, Mrs. Danielle Robb, who has been named as the principal of Bennington Elementary for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year.
Mrs. Robb has been in education for 14 years, starting as an elementary teacher for Millard Public Schools, and then as an instructional facilitator/UNO CADRE Associate for Elkhorn Public Schools. Mrs. Robb’s vision is to provide a safe and positive learning environment that fosters collaboration between students, teachers, and the Badger community to continue the tradition of excellence in Bennington Public Schools.
Kindergarten Registration for the 2022-2023 School Year is Now Open!
Do you have a student ready to start Kindergarten in August 2022? Anchor Pointe Elementary is currently accepting registrations for any incoming Kindergarten students. If your child will be eligible for Kindergarten (age 5 by July 31, 2022) please visit our district website www.benningtonschools.org and click on "Enroll New Student" at the top to register for the upcoming school year, and be sure to select the 2022-2023 school year.
Determining the enrollment for the next year is important for future staff planning. Completing registration also ensures that you receive communication regarding kindergarten. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
