The Summer Forum will feature twelve different breakout sessions designed for school counselors on a variety of topics. Participants will have the opportunity to choose three to attend. This event is also a great opportunity to collaborate and connect with others in the school counseling profession.

MSCA Emerging Leaders
The goal of the MSCA Emerging Leader Program is to identify potential leaders within the school counseling profession in Missouri and to provide them with opportunities to become actively involved with MSCA.
Criteria
Emerging leaders must:
Be a member of the Missouri School Counselor Association
Be employed as a professional school counselor in Missouri (possess a valid certificate and is employed by a school district)
Not be a Committee Chair or serve as an elected officer on the Governing Board
Have a desire to further the mission and vision of MSCA through professional advocacy and leadership
Application Process
Individuals interested in becoming an Emerging Leader must submit:
Your letter of interest
Your resume
A letter of support from your supervisor or principal
A letter of recommendation from an MSCA member who knows you.
