Timothy Walter Burton


Early Years

Timothy Walter Burton (aka Tim), was born August 25, 1958 to Jean Rae and William Burton, in Burbank, California. Most of Burton's childhood was spent as a recluse. Tim enjoyed both drawing and watching old movies as a child, favoring the horror movies of Roger Corman. Upon graduating high school, Tim attended California Institute of the Arts, and majored in animation, starting the path that would lead him to where he is today.
