Perseverance is the ability to continue through an adversity even trying when times are tough.

Jackie Robinson Vs A white Player (Compare and Contrast)

White Player

Allowed to play in the MLB------- Rejected From the MLB

Respected and Praised------------- Disrespected and beaten.

Known to be proper----------------- Known to be Inadequate

These are just a few of the differences between a white player in the MLB and a African american player in the MLB. It is truly unfair how they were treated.

Winston Churchill Accomlishments (Description)

Winston Churchill is a successful and inspiring historical figure. Born on November the 30 1874. His childhood was very lonely and hard but so was his future. Throughout his life he has shown perseverance, success, and power. At one point in time in England some time in 1951 he pushed through his challenges and had the ambition to start his second term of Prime Minister. He is also very brave to be able to carry on his speeches in front of a entire nation. However he is best known for being able to get the United States Of America to join the fight against Nazi Germany with. During this time he was able to get the U.S to help fund repairs on England and defeat Germany with the U.S helping England. Winston Churchill once said, “ Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” From this quote, we understand how he always encouraged everyone to keep moving, stay strong, and don't give up.

What We can learn from others perseverance.

From other peoples perseverance we can learn that we must try hard to succeed. For when we succeed we need to always keep trying. We can also learn no matter how impossible it seems to defeat the adversity, you can overcome it. We must never surrender or give in, in order to succeed.

Kid President (Description)

Young Robby Novak was diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta when he was just a kid. Over time he has become very famous on Youtube from his character he calls "Kid President". He has a rare bone disease that makes his bones very weak and brittle. Osteogenesis Imperfecta or OI makes it very hard for him to do things that other kids can do, because of this he is forced to be idle. Such as riding a bike or running, these simple tasks are made very harmful to him. We can learn from him because we always take our daily actions for granite.

Losing to Win (Cause And Effect)

Their parents have influenced them on drug and alcohol abuse or maybe did not have enough money to keep their child in good condition. Because of this the girls need to go to a correctional facility school.The girls put all their problems behind them and play basketball and have fun even though they are on a very large losing streak, it has also helped them with gaining friends and occupying their time with something good instead of doing drugs or drinking alcohol.

The Sandy Road (Sequencing)

The group of people where traveling through the dessert and ended up running out of water, the water is vital to their survival because they need it for themselves and their oxen. They are in extreme heat and need to search for water as soon as they possibly can. After walking in the dessert all night long they fined a grassy area and decide to dig. They find a underground river and need to get to it but it is covered by a rock. They find the strongest boy and have him hammer in the rock in order to receive the water. He hits the rock with all his might and breaks it pouring water all over him and the others.
