TEACHER CALL UPDATES - CALL MEETING ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13TH

After much prayerful consideration, Mr. Karl Bauer, who we called for 5th Grade Homeroom and Upper Grade Music, has returned our call and will continue to serve at St. Paul First LS in North Hollywood, CA.

At the Call Meeting on Sunday, March 3rd, the Voters decided NOT to call anyone and ask for a new list. There will be a meeting on Wednesday, March 13th after the 6:30 p.m. Lent Service in the Fellowship Hall to call a teacher for 5th Grade Homeroom and Upper Grade Music, and a teacher for 7th Grade Homeroom and Athletic Director.

IMPORTANT - Before and After School Policy

ALL TLS Families signed a Handbook Agreement.at the beginning of the school year. Adult supervision of every student protects everyone. IF your student arrives prior to 8:15 a.m. they are Extended Care (whether they are in the gym or not) and time will be recorded and charged to you (even if you choose not to enter the building with them). Students may not "linger" in the hallways or entry ways. Questions can be directed to Mr. Gut.

All children must be picked up by 6:00 PM. Additional fees will be applied if children are not picked up by 6:00 PM.

$160.25

$160.25 is the amount needed in your student's lunch account to take hot lunch each day for the rest of the year ( March 7th - May 22nd and does not include extra portions, any current negative balance, or any field trips). Do you know what your student's lunch balance is? Check it out via PowerSchool. Get a check or cash into the school office soon.

Reminder - The Board of Education adopted a policy that when a student’s lunch account becomes negative $20, that student will not be allowed to select the #1 entrée for lunch. However #2, PBJ, and #3, Salad Bar, will still be lunch options for the student.

The staff salaries and food expenses are paid for solely by the funds collected for lunch. Any amounts in your student's lunch accounts that do not get used this year, will roll over into the next school year. You can monitor you students lunch balance and receive email alerts at a threshold of your choosing via Power School. Thank you for keeping positive balances in your student's lunch account!
