New Beginnings' Newsletter

Your place for a fresh start!

September 2022

Welcome to the September edition of the NBC Newsletter. September is a month that brings the first signs of fall. Falling leaves, cooler temperatures, and pumpkin spice begins to fill the air as fall peeks around the corner of our year. As the seasons begin to change, we continue to look to the One who never changes. The One who stays the same and is always faithful to keep His promises. At NBC, we look to the Lord to be our constant and our stability as things change around us. We may not know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future. We pray that you will continue to lean on the Lord during these changing and uncertain times, and we hope to connect and grow with you in this season. We'd love to have you join the NBC family on Sundays for 8:30am or 10am at 29 Park Place Dr., so we can grow together in the Lord!

Get to Work: Serve List

To be a true disciple we must live a life of love and be willing to serve others. Not only should we serve/volunteer within our church, but we must step outside the walls of the church and enter the “mission field”: the community and world around us.

Mark 10:45 “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” 1Peter 4:10 “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” Matthew 25:40 The King will reply, “Truly I tell you whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Romans 15:1-2, Matthew 5:16, Hebrews 6:10, Philippians 4:9, Isaiah 1:17, Acts 13:47

There are many opportunities both locally, nationally, and internationally for us to serve others and advance the kingdom. You can act as a representative of Jesus Christ on behalf of New Beginnings Church to any of the following local ministries/charities:

Disaster Relief Ministries:

Feeding Ministries:

The Vision and Purpose of NBC

The vision of New Beginnings is to reach the Northshore community with the life giving message of Jesus Christ, and to teach those we reach to become true disciples, ultimately reproducing themselves. We say it like this....reach and teach we don't just want them to know, but to grow.

The purpose of New Beginnings is to be a life giving beacon of hope, a sanctuary for the hopeless, and a haven for the downtrodden. As Jesus Himself said, "It's not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick". New Beginnings is a place for a fresh start.
