Voters in these countries elect a president to lead the government as the head of the executive branch. They also elect law makers who represent the people in a national legislature who serve fixed terms along with the president.

Advantages:

1 presidents are elected directly by the people.

2 Divided into branched to prevent the abuse of power.


Disadvantages:

1 Almost impossible to remove a president before the end of their term.

2 Sometimes branches disagree on bills and laws so they can put a pause on solving it hurting the citizens.
