Executive Function skills....continued
I have come across several articles on Executive Functioning on Harvard's website. One article described executive functioning in the brain is like having an air traffic control system at a busy airport to manage the arrivals and departures of dozens of planes on multiple runways.
This example, really helped me to see how important teaching these skills can be for our students, especially in Montessori.
