2020-2021 - A History Maker!
"We" is such a small word, but it holds so much meaning when it comes to this past school year! When we first began the 2020-2021 school year, we knew that we had to dig in together. We knew that we would face change - daily and sometimes hourly. We knew that we would have to learn new processes and learn them quickly. We knew that school and life as we had known it in times past would be different - very different.
However, we locked in early. We decided that we really could do hard things...together. We decided that we would do whatever it would take for your...our kiddos! We decided that we would reach a whole new level of creativity. And guess what?!?
WE DID IT!
Together, we survived what seemed so overwhelming! Those little Rountree Roadrunners are the best! They would not quit! They will probably remember dots, social distancing, foam in-foam out, in-person and at-home learners, "mute yourself," virtual teachers, pre-packaged snacks and so much more for a very long time! Mainly, we will remember that WE DID IT...TOGETHER!
Have an enjoyable and safe summer! We look forward to hearing about the wonderful books that they will read, the amazing places that they will visit and the awesome discoveries that they will make!
