KEREN C: ^.^
What was the change?
The Scientific Revolution was an European studied of the natural world began to be characterized by careful observations and the questioning of accepted beliefs.
All the people believed on the church because they thought the church was always right. But as the scientific revolution came. Everything change..........c:
Who were the people associated with the change?
- Copernicus is one of the people associated with his change. He said that the planets move around around the sun which is called heliocentric. Heliocentric is the astronomical model in which the Earth and planets revolve around a relatively stationary Sun at the center of the Solar System. Copernicus couldn't publish his work quickly because he still didn't had the proofs that his beliefs were true. Anyways the catholic church, clergy , and scholars would reject his theory because of religious views.
- Kepler a brilliant mathematician concluded that certain mathematical laws govern planetary motion.
- Galileo came up with a new theories about astronomy. The Catholic Church didn't like him, and they warned him not to defend the ideas of Copernicus. Some of Galileo discoveries was that he found four moons on Jupiter also, the moons and stars were made of pure.
4. Isaac Newton helped to bring together breakthroughs under a single theory of motion. How did it effect the revolution? by newtons help , everyone now believed more to the scientists than the church.
_________Isaac newton_______
The catholic church is losing power....
How did the change impact society at the time?
It changed the way people thought about the religious, new technology, astronomy, and beliefs. Since the church said no to all the ideas that brilliant people and found out that it became true....they lost power. New ideas came from all around the world. Telescopes, microscope, telephone, microwave, cameras, paintings, etc.
The inventions and ideas that came from all around the world c:
Catholic Church
People still believe on churches but not as much as they used to because of how they were.
Copernicus, Kepler , and Galileo
They all became more important of there studies and ideas of the Solar System.
How is that change evidenced in today's modern society?
We still believe on church beliefs but we now know about the heliocentric theory is true and all about the Solar System. We been having astronauts that go to space and prove to us what is really going on up there. Science is no doubt with us today. It actually surrounds our daily lives. We know have better technology from the ideas that came around.
