Every Leopard, Every Day!

Give a Leopard High Five!

The Leopard High Five program is a way for you to salute any Gainesville ISD employee who goes above and beyond what is expected. Whether you are a parent impressed with that special touch your child's teacher added to a moment, or you are a coworker who thinks the campus PEIMS clerk doesn't hear often enough about the great job she is doing - you can send a Leopard High Five! Nominations can be made by any parent, student, community member, or coworker and any employee within Gainesville ISD is eligible to receive a High Five.

The link is located on our website and is always open for nominations.

Parent Advisory Committee

Thank you for a successful Parent Advisory Committee meeting! The first meeting was well attended and parents gave valuable feedback, working together to discuss and share the district strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT). It was a valuable experience for everyone involved! It’s never too late to join the PAC, as every meeting is open to all who can attend. The next PAC meeting is November 21st. We hope you can join us!

Facility Upgrades

The dirt work began this week on the GHS softball and baseball field turf installation. In addition, this week the band grid was repaved and striped for a much needed face lift to the practice marching area. The construction of the new tennis courts will begin soon! We are proud to offer these facility improvements for our students!
