In the Classroom
it's a great week in first grade! This week we are learning about storm and summer safety!
Here are some important things to know this week:
Lunch Information- No school lunches can be charged in May. All meal charges should be paid as soon as possible and money should be sent to pay for current meals and milk. If your child forgets his or her lunch or has a balance (and is not receiving free meal benefits) a complimentary PB&J and milk lunch and toast and milk breakfast will be provided.
If your child is not returning next year and has a lunch credit, you can complete a "Lunch Refund Request" to have a check mailed to you or you can have it donated to another student. This form can be filled out at the school or it can be downloaded from the Food Service Department's website under "Resources," then "Lunch Refund Request."
Balances may be checked thru your Parent Portal account or contact the Food Service Department at 732-3753 or email ruth.melvin@republicschools.org.
