A Publication of Garden City School
Our City Meetings are also a great opportunity to develop student leadership and give students practice with public speaking and presentation skills. We were all very proud of fifth grader Payton Mays (pictured below) for talking with students about an upcoming class recycling contest, and fourth graders Analise Barnette, Ida Bensouda, Fatoumata Jaiteh, and Genesis Santana for sharing their positive messages about bullying prevention. I look forward to giving many more students the opportunity to shine at future meetings.
As we enter November, I just wanted to express how thankful I am to be part of the Garden City School community, and especially for the respectful, kind, eager students you send to school each day. Thank you for your ongoing partnership and support!
