MLK Day is January 16, 2023
Each year Martin Luther King Jr is honored on the third Monday of January. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr was born on January 15, 1929. This is a federal holiday. Dr. King is well known in American History for his advocacy and work during the Civil Rights Movement. President Ronald Reagan signed the holiday into law in 1983. There are many events in cities across the United States on MLK Day! We invite you to celebrate in your own way.
