Kindergarten Publishing Party

In Kindergarten, we have been learning all about the weather. As a culminating activity, the students had to write a book about the weather. They had to choose a type of weather, show what the character would wear in the weather, write about 2 activities that the character would do in the weather and write about the character's feelings. During the process we talked about characters, setting and events. To celebrate our hard work we had a Publishing Party. We invited families to the Publishing Party and the student authors shared their work and answered questions. Every book received a gold seal of excellence for the hard work that was done! Thank you to all of the families and staff that came to celebrate with us!
