What is Bullying?
Bullying is an unwanted, very aggressive behaviour that can happen with any age at any time. It is very common for teens and tweens. Usually when bullying occurs, there is an imbalance of power, and there is repitition, it is more likely to happen more than once. Bullying can include actions such as making threats, spreading rumours, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose.
Why do People Bully?
But what they don't know is that bullying has a major impact on health. It has a long term affect on victims of bullying. The bully remarks stay with them forever, you can not just ruin someone's life and get away with it! When people are bullied they change, that is why they need support. They can engage in risky behaviour and usually people involved in bullying have a very poor educational attainment.
How do People Feel When they Get Bullied?
A person who is being bullied might not want to talk about their social life. This is sometimes because they are threatened or they are just afraid that the bully would just keep bullying them even worst than the last time. In the case of cyber bullying sometimes kids are too embarrassed to talk about their problems and they might also be afraid that their parents might take their device away.
