College of Veterinary Medicine
UF had its first graduating class in 1980 and now have over 2400 graduates of its DVM degree program. They have four elective Certificate Programs for current UF DVM students; shelter medicine, food animal medicine, international vet medicine, and aquatic animal health.

UF CVM Certificate Programs
Shelter Medicine- UF is one of the few schools who offer formal shelter medicine training to enrolled vet students. UF is also qualified to teach advanced shelter medicine courses.
Food Animal Medicine- this program is administered by the Food Animal Reproduction and Medicine Service in the department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences.
International Veterinary Medicine- WEBSITE
Aquatic Animal Health- UF had its first aquatic animal health class in 1976 and has seen significant growth since 2000.
