Apply for Free/Reduced Lunch
Per N.J.A.C. 2:36-1.5(d), "Students are eligible for school meal benefits or free milk for the school year and up to 30 operating days in the subsequent school year". Effective Thursday, November 12, 2020, all students who previously qualified for free and reduced lunch in the 2019-2020 school year that have not submitted a free and reduced application for the 2020-2021 school year, will be reset to "paid" status. This means once the all free lunch status is lifted, students will have to pay for their meals (breakfast and lunch).
To avoid this, the free and reduced lunch applications are available through the Realtime Parent Portal or you may utilize the printable application which is available on all District building websites. Only ONE (1) application per FAMILY is required to determine qualification status.

Message from the Principal
I hope you all had a nice long weekend! The weather was beautiful! This week the students learned about our veterans and all they have done to protect and serve us and our country. Thank you to our Mountain View community veterans. We appreciate your service and dedication.
I received many requests to return to in-person hybrid learning for T2. Your teachers will be sending out a welcome email to you. If you requested to return in-person and do not receive a email by your teacher on Monday 11/16, please email me.
There is a message above but please note that after 11/15 the "In-Person Health Screening" will be done through Real Time. You must make sure you have your account set up. Directions came home last week. Please call the office if you need another copy. It is encouraged for you to begin this process for the next day your child is in person.
Just a reminder that making a U-turn on Clover Hill Drive or dropping kids off on Clover Hill Drive is dangerous. There are cones set up where you cannot park and stopping in the middle of the road to drop your child off by these cones is very dangerous. Please plan alternate routes or use our drop off line in the Linwood lot. Please also remember to drop off on the passenger side. Please do not get out of your car when dropping off in the car line. Our Staff is there to open the door for you. I love to see our students riding bikes to school. Please make sure your child is wearing a helmet to and from school- on a bike or a scooter. Children under the age of 17 are required to wear a helmet when riding a bike.
If you have any questions please contact me at any time.
Enjoy the weekend!
