___________________________________________________________________________________________________This is a 'cheat sheet' for the properties I know the least about. They are:
Cohesion- molecular attraction by which the particles of a body are united throughout the mass; the act or state of sticking together tightly.
This picture shows cohesion because the water is sticking together and united to form a droplet. It shows the cohesion of water.
Viscosity- the ratio of the tangential frictional force per unit area to the velocity gradient perpendicular to the direction of flow of a liquid; the property of resistance to flow in a fluid or semifluid.
This picture of honey falling from a spoon shows viscosity because because portray's honey's resistance to gravity, and honey's viscosity.
Ductility- capable of being drawn out into wire or thread
This image shows ductility because it is a photograph of metal, which is ductile--as seen by the metal wires in this picture.
Luster- A glow of reflected light; the appearance of the surface of a mineral dependent upon its reflecting qualities.
This is a picture of amber, and it shows luster because it highlights the reflective quality of amber's surface, or the luster of the amber.
