Library News

  • Overdue notices were sent out and teachers have a class list of overdue books. Please return library books on Friday when you come to pick up your student's supplies.

  • Summer Reading information will be posted on the BBE library website later this week. It is a different format this year, but I want to encourage all of my Bears to continue to read this summer. Readers are Leaders!

5th Grade

5th Grade parents:

We are looking forward to celebrating the 5th graders on Friday at 4:30 p.m. during 5th grade item pick-up. The 5th grade teachers and BBE staff will be lined up ready to send them off to middle school!

We also have BBE 5th grade signs that will be placed in your yard this week. If you are a transfer student or live in an apartment/townhouse where it might not be feasible to install your sign, it will be with your items on Friday.

We know this is not the ideal way to end the year and are extremely proud of the resilience our 5th graders have shown. Hopefully we can have a true 5th grade celebration and yearbook signing once yearbooks are delivered over the summer. In the meantime, know we are confident our BBE Bears will excel in middle school and continue their journey of life-long learning.

End of Year Sticker Ball

Traditionally our year-long sticker ball is on display on the last day of school. Of course this year we were cut short, but our visitor ball was on track to outgrow the 2018-2019 school year.
